The u13 boys attended the Bammell Malone tournament in Cooley on Saturday.
This was a great experience with 32 teams in attendance from far and wide, including 2 from France 👏
The day started with a pre-match parade and anthem before the football got underway.
The lads had 5 matches against a number of different teams throughout the day from Tyrone, Monaghan and Armagh.
The Gers lads made is as far as the semi-final of the plaque before their day ended.
There were many good performances on the day.
Captain Danny de Lasa was solid in goal.
Niall Coleman was excellent in defence, along with the hard working Sam Murphy.
Conall Gaughran and Sean Murphy played very well and were involved in many attacks.
Oliver Kerley and Sean Garvey did very well in midfield, Oliver scoring a nice point in the 3rd match.
John Smith and Harry Melaniphy were always a threat with both registering some well taken scores throughout the day.
Sam Jeytoo and Cillian McKevitt were dangerous up front, with Cillian scoring an impressive 1:3 in the quarter final in 15 minutes 💪
Aaron O’Donoghue, Joe Lynch, Janes Scanlon and Rónán Duggan brought some welcome energy from the bench when introduced.
It was a great experience and very enjoyable for players & parents alike.
GRMA Kickhams for a well organised tournament 👍
