Super Win for D4 U14 Girls 👊

Our U14 girls travelled to Monasterboice for their match against Naomh Martin last night. On a wet field the home team got off to a quick start and were 3 goals up after 10 minutes. The girls slowly got into the game with strong running from Anna and Naomi in midfield to trail at halftime 4-1 to 1-5.

After the restart the Gers became totally dominant with the full back line of Anna Nessa and Miliani and half back line of Cliodhna, Aoife and Aimee holding the hosts to a single point for the half and giving keeper Elizabeth an easy evening.

Our half forwards of Issey, Eva and Ruby worked relentlessly for the full forwards of Eabha, Emily and Katy. Lily Mae and Aisling also entered the attack to help the team finish out the game on a score of 6-10 to 4-2.

A super performance by all involved with some brilliant tackling and great team work.
