The u13 boys continued their u13 league campaign with a visit to Dreadnots on Monday evening.

The home side started brightly and had 5 points registered by the time Roan Norton opened the Gers account with a goal to bring them back into the game. The Gers rallied from there and Joe Lynch helped himself to 3:1 as they established a lead. Ross Nordon also finished a nice move with a neat point to leave the Haggardstown lads up by 7 at the break.

The third quarter was again a strong one for the Gers, with some good passing moves ending with Roan Norton helping himself to 2 more goals. The interplay at times was impressive despite the wet conditions, and a Joe Lynch point and a Rónán Duggan goal kept the score board ticking over.

The green defence remained tight, and while the home side scored some nice points the lads tacking tirelessly and defending well to keep daylight between the sides.

The Gers finished strongly, with Sean Spaight helping himself to 1:3 before the final whistle blew on a satisfactory evenings football.

The entire team played well as a unit, and all lads contributed to a well deserved result.

Comhghairdeas ar an iarracht iontach ó na buachaillí go léir !!
