GERALDINES GFC CLUB NOTES

MONDAY 16 MAY 2022

The Senior Men were narrowly beaten by the Blues on Saturday evening on a score line of 0-15 to 0-14. In a very entertaining game, the boys can count themselves unlucky not to leave with at least a draw. Next up is a home match on Saturday evening against St. Mochtas, throw in @ 7.30 pm. Our Junior Men were beaten by Mattock Rangers, and are away on Tuesday evening against St. Mochtas, throw in @ 7.30 pm.

It was 3 wins from 3 for the Gers Ladies this past week with victory over Roche on Friday night in the Adult B League; the Ladies progress to the Winter Cup semi final after victory over Naomh Martin on Sunday; and a win over Dundalk Gaels in the Sunday League Competition. Next Sunday morning the Ladies are away to the Cuchulainn Gaels in the Sunday League, throw in @ 11.30 am.

Congrats to all Gers players who represented their County over the weekend. All in the club are very proud of you.
