GERALDINES GFC CLUB NOTES

MONDAY 09 MAY 2022

The Senior Men got back to winning ways on Saturday evening with a great win against the Martins in Division 1, final score 2-07 to 0-06. They are away to the Blues next Saturday evening, throw in @ 5.30 pm. Our Junior Men were beaten by Ardee St. Marys, and are at home on Tuesday evening against Mattock Rangers, throw in @ 7.30 pm.

Our Ladies had 3 matches in the past week. First up was a home Adult B match v St. Fechins, which we won by 4-09 to 2-09. There were 2 home matches on Sunday morning with victory over the Dreadnots in the Winter Cup and defeat to Cuchulainn Gaels in the Sunday League. The Ladies are away to Roche on Friday evening in the Adult B League, throw in @ 7.30 pm and on Sunday morning are away to Dundalk Gaels in the Sunday League, throw in @ 11.30 am.

Congrats to all Gers players who represented their County over the weekend. All in the club are very proud of you.

Thank you to everyone who came to McGeough Park on Saturday morning in support of Pieta House Darkness into Light, and we raised over €450.
