3 games in 6 days for U14 Boys

Our Gers u14 boys have been kept busy in last few days with 3 games providing plenty of game opportunities for the panel. Missing a few key players meant some of boys have had to adapt to different positions which will aid their development and overall skillset.

On Wednesday last we played Mattock/Hunterstown in the U15 Division 3 league and despite a very good performance in which we led for three quarters of the match, we lost out by 6 points in the end.

On Saturday we played Baile Talún in the U14 Division 1 League. Last years U13 Chanpionship runners up adapted to the wet conditions better from the start and despite a spirited performance by the Gers in which we took some fine scores, Baile Talún had a convincing win in the end.

On Bank Holiday Monday the Gers rebounded impressively with an excellent performance against John Mitchels in the U15 Division 3 League. Fine teamwork, good tracking of runners, tight marking and accurate score taking ensured a convincing win.

Another match on Wednesday! Hopefully all are refreshed for the trip to Glen Emmets to play the home side . Good luck lads 👍
