Our under 15 boys gave a super performance against St.Patricks on a sunny evening in Lordship.
It was evident right from the start that the young Gers meant business and were in a determined mood to compete for every ball. They were confident in posession with some fine passages of passing play to score three early points. The Pats responded with three points of their own. The gers capitalised on their good possession with two stunning goals and couple of points to lead by 2-5 to 0-4 at the break.
The Gers struck an early goal in the second half and the Pats hit back immediately with a couple of goals but the Geraldines kept the scoreboard ticking over with another two spectacular goals and some well taken frees.
The Gers dominated the final 15 minutes and would have had a bigger margin of victory if they had continued to move the ball on quickly as they had done for the rest of the game. Well done to all 17 boys that played. Every single one displayed great committment to their team and thank you to our supporters who travelled and to injured duo Ralph and Ryan who travelled out to cheer on their team mates.
