The Gers U8s certainly counted in the first outdoor blitz of the year on a sunny Sunday morning. Hosting teams from St. Brides and Glyde Rangers, the lads enjoyed their time in the sun on the back pitch in McGeough Park, Haggardstown. Surprisingly ring rusty after their indoor blitzes in DKIT Sport, the lads grew into the games, tackling was to the fore front of the skills we wanted to work on this week.

Fielding 2 teams all players received equal game time, and all had the opportunity to put into play the skills that we have been working on with them in training on Wednesday evenings. Training continues each Wednesday from 6pm to 7pm on the side pitch, and we welcome any players to the home of football in the parish.
