The u13 lads continued their league campaign with a home tie against St. Mochtas on a fine Friday evening.

The match was played at a reduced team size of 12 aside due to reduced opposition numbers, which meant there were pockets of space on the full sized pitch. Both sides capitalized when the opportunities arose and the first half was end to end with fine scores on both sides, and it meant the lads were tied coming into half time.

The second half was started off equally tight and as the half wore on the Haggardstown lads started to get on top, aided by some well taken scores including several from Sean Spaight who finished the night with an impressive 4-3.

The Gers lads managed to raise the green flag 3 times in the closing stages in a strong finish to earn a deserved victory.
