Gers U13 Girls - U14 Division 4 League Opener
A very encouraging start to the season for this promising bunch of girls. Despite this being their first game on a full sized pitch, the girls adapted really well and didn’t look out of place at all. It was a resolute performance from all of the girls against an older and physically stronger team. The Gers girls performance showed that they will be be competitive in the league with definitely more to come from these young ladies as they get used to their new surroundings. Well done to everyone who togged out for the game, and thanks to everyone who cheered on the girls. Thanks to all of our mentors, our hosts, the Dreadnots, and to referee Stephen Devlin, who always explained his decisions to the girls which will help their personal development. Looking forward to our next match
