GERALDINES GFC CLUB NOTES

Both of our Men’s and Ladies Senior teams tasted defeat this weekend. Our men lost out to Mattock Rangers in the Paddy Sheelan Cup and our ladies were beaten by St. Fechins in the Winter Cup. There is no fixture for the Men this coming week. The Ladies play Naomh Fionnbarrs on Sunday next in round 3 of the Winter Cup, with our Junior Ladies away to Dundalk Gaels on Friday evening in their first outing of the season.  

Congrats to all Gers players who represented their County over the weekend. All in the club are very proud of you.

The club will be launching its first fundraiser of the season this coming week. Think you can predict the All Ireland and Provincial Championship winners? Try your luck in our ‘Race for Sam, Liam and Brendan’ for only €10 per entry and you could become €500 richer! See any committee member or coach for envelopes.

Club membership is now due and can be paid for on Clubzap.  

Our Lotto stands at €5000.00; please check our social media for details of the ways in which you can take part.  We thank everyone who supports our club lotto; funds raised are essential to the running of our facilities for the entire parish to enjoy.
