Geraldines u13 boys played a challenge game on Monday evening against our near neighbours St Brides in Knockbridge. Due to Covid 19 there has been no u13 Louth League so the boys were delighted to get a game after working hard at training over the last couple of months. The Gers lads put in a strong performance from early on winning a lot of possession with some fine fielding combined with really good team play and quick passing and running yielding some fine goals and points. In the 2nd half the Bride's fought back well and despite fielding several younger players never stopped competing. The Geraldines continued to created plenty of scores when they moved the ball on quickly. Thank you to the Bride's for hosting the game which was played out in a sporting manner and was expertly officiated by Cathal OBrien who referees as well as he dances!
